To Prepare:

Homemade Juice

The recipe described below, when used with Non Dairy Bravo, produces no alcohol, a pH of 3.95, and a probiotic microbe count of near to one hundred billion (100 x 10⁹) per litre.

• 1 Litre (US Quart) of bottled still mineral water (the microbes like minerals, and die in chlorinated water).
  Note: We do NOT recommend using reverse osmosis water.
• 1 organic dried prune with no kernel (dried fig or apricot may be used instead).
• 1 tablespoon of lemon juice (the microbes prefer a lower pH).
• 1 tablespoon of cane or refined sugar. Note: The sucrose (sugar) or fructose (fruit juice sugar) is consumed by the fermentation process.

Mix all the above ingredients in a large glass bowl.

How to Prepare one Batch (1 litre/quart) of Bravo Probiotic Juice

1. Put 1 Litre (US Quart) of homemade juice (or apple juice or orange juice, etc.) into a large glass bowl.
2. Mix in the contents of sachet ① first, as this tends to clump. Use a stainless steel whisk very briskly for several minutes to dissolve the powder. Then mix in sachet ❷ and ❸ using the whisk as before. Some small clumps may remain and these will dissolve in the fermentation process.
3. Cover the bowl loosely with kitchen paper or aluminium foil, (to keep out dust), and leave it sitting, (fermenting), for 24 hours at room temperature, (16-26°C or 60-78°F), in a quiet place, away from vibrations, heat, drafts or blowing fans. Do NOT mix or stir during the fermentation.
4. After 24 hours, mix the contents of the bowl well and pour it through a stainless steel strainer, (to remove traces of fruit), into a glass jug. Then loosely cover with aluminium foil, and refrigerate. The presence of opaqueness and sediment in the product, is an indicator that the fermentation process was successful.
5. The final product, stored in the refrigerator, will remain good for 10 days.

Consume: Up to 100mls (3.3 fl oz) daily. (1 Litre/Quart will last 10 days) OR use as a daily face wash.

As an Enema: For a 75Kg (12 stone) adult. Mix 20-25ml (1 to 2 tbsp) of Bravo drink with 20-25ml (1 to 2 tbsp) of 0.9% saline solution for use as an enema. Allow to reach room temperature before insertion. Try to retain as long as possible. Dose may be increased to as much as 100ml (7 tbsp) of Bravo drink. This can be used every day if no side effects. Note: A saline solution of 0.9% is the same concentration as body fluids (1 litre of water to 9 grams of sodium chloride).

Designed to naturally:

• Provide immune-stimulating properties consisting of Macrophage Activation (MAF) support.
• Provide gastro-resistant probiotics to colonize the gut, after passing undamaged through the stomach.
• Provide eukaryotic microbes that decrease local and systemic inflammation and support neuroprotective functions.
• Produce less than 0.1 grams per litre of alcohol (significantly less than that found in orange or apple juice or Kombucha). 
• Produce no sparkling texture, compared to other products.
• Support the healthy human microbiome.
• Cleanse and support healthy skin.

Storage:

• The dry powders are very stable, so they are shipped without any refrigeration.
• It is only to extend the shelf life of the powders, that we recommend storage in the refrigerator, away from humidity.
• The "best before" date on the kit is for one year after manufacture.
• The final product will keep for 10 days in the refrigerator.

Note: It is not possible to use some of the left over product to produce another batch of Non Dairy Bravo. That is, without adding in the required amount of non-fermenting Bifidobacteria, the gastro-resistant probiotics, the maltodextrin and the chondroitin sulfate MAF. And even then it would not be the same, due to changes in the proportions of Colony Forming Bacteria.
